Studio Signpost
is an animation studio subsidiary of Pierrot. The studio is an associate-member of The Association of Japanese Animations. History The company was founded in 1959 as a magazine advertising agency and stepped into the anime industry in 1989 by Keiji Kusano and Yoshikazu Tochihira. In 1993, the company took on the name Studio Kikan and released their first animated works ''Shima Shima Tora no Shimajirou''. In 1996, the company established Arms as a separate studio to focus on adult animation and subcontracted animation work. The studio became a subsidiary of Pierrot Pierrot ( , ; ), a stock character of pantomime and commedia dell'arte, has his origins in the late 17th-century Italian troupe of players performing in Paris and known as the Comédie-Italienne. Kabushiki-gaisha
A or ''kabushiki kaisha'', commonly abbreviated K.K. or KK, is a type of defined under the Companies Act of Japan. The term is often translated as "stock company", "joint-stock company" or "stock corporation". Letter Bee
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Asada. It was first serialized in Shueisha's manga magazine ''Monthly Shōnen Jump'' from September 2006 to June 2007; after the magazine ceased publication, it was transferred to ''Jump Square'', where it ran from November 2007 to November 2015. Its chapters were collected in 20 volumes. The series is set in AmberGround, a land illuminated by an artificial sun, and follows Lag Seeing, a Letter Bee with the ability to see the memories of people and objects, and his personal Dingo Niche on their journeys across AmberGround. Tensai Bakabon
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujio Akatsuka, which began publication on April 9, 1967, in '' Weekly Shōnen Magazine''. It is about the misadventures of a dim-witted boy (Bakabon) and his idiotic father, the latter of whom eventually becomes the central character. It has been adapted into five anime television series. The first two series produced by Tokyo Movie were broadcast in the 1970s for 40 and 103 episodes respectively. Magical Girl Ore
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Icchokusen Mōkon. It began serialization in Fusion Product's ''Comic Be'' magazine in 2012, and was collected in two ''tankōbon'' volumes. Onigiri (video Game)
is an action massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by CyberStep. It is set in a fantasy land reminiscent of ancient Japan in which humans and non-humans such as Oni and other Yōkai coexist. The game was originally released in Japan on February 6, 2014 and in North America on July 1, 2014. The English console versions were released on October 2, 2015 for the Xbox One, on October 6, 2015 for the PlayStation 4 and January 31, 2019 for Nintendo Switch. The game's title means "oni cutter", reflective of the player characters' background as an Oni; the title can also be taken as a pun on onigiri, the Japanese rice ball. As of July 31, 2020, the Xbox servers were shut down and the game was removed for purchase from the Xbox store. Masashi Kudō (animator)
Masashi Kudo () is a Japanese animator. He is best known for his work on Bleach (TV series), ''Bleach'', the anime series based on the Bleach (manga), manga of the same name. Masahiko Ohta
(born January 4, 1967) is a Japanese animator, storyboard artist, and animation director. Biography He worked on "Bit the Cupid" and "Hare Tokidoki Buta” at Group TAC before leaving the company in 1998 to start his own business. He has worked in animation and direction since about 2000, primarily for Madhouse productions (MADHOUSE Inc.). In 2003's " Narutaru," he worked as a character designer. In 2006's "'' Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na: Crescent Love''" he made his directorial debut. He has since transitioned to directing, concentrating on Dome and Doga Kobo's anime.
