Starship Entertainment
Starship Entertainment () is a South Korean entertainment company founded in 2008 and became an independent subsidiary of Kakao Entertainment in 2013. It is also called one of the "five major agencies" in the pop music world, with SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment leading the way. It has been recognized for its contributions to the Hallyu wave, being home to several prominent K-pop groups and soloists. These include groups such as Monsta X, WJSN, Cravity, Ive, and KiiiKiii and soloists such as K.Will, Brother Su, Wonho, Kihyun, Joohoney, and Seola, as well as formerly home to Sistar, Boyfriend, Junggigo, Mad Clown, Jooyoung, Soyou, Yoo Seung-woo, Jeong Se-woon, and DJ Soda. It also manages actors under King Kong by Starship. Boyfriend (band)
Boyfriend () is a South Korean boy band formed by Starship Entertainment in 2011. They are the first boy group to have twin members. The group consists of Kim Dong-hyun, Shim Hyun-seong, Lee Jeong-min, Jo Young-min, Jo Kwang-min and No Min-woo. They debuted on Mnet's ''M Countdown'' on May 26, 2011, with "Boyfriend". On May 17, 2019, Starship Entertainment announced that Boyfriend disbanded. Sistar
Sistar (; stylized in all caps) was a South Korean girl group formed in 2010 by Starship Entertainment. The group consisted of Hyolyn, Yoon Bo-ra, Bora, Soyou and Kim Da-som, Dasom. They made their official debut with the song "Push Push (Sistar song), Push Push" on 3 June 2010. Their debut studio album ''So Cool (Sistar album), So Cool'' was released on 9 August 2011. Seola (singer)
Kim Hyun-jung (), known professionally as Seola (; stylized as SeolA), is a South Korean singer and actress, best known as a member of the South Korean girl group WJSN. Career 2016–2017: Debut with WJSN, and acting debut Seola was revealed to be a member of WJSN and its "Sweet Unit" on December 24, 2015. Lee Joo-heon (; born October 6, 1994), better known by the stage name Joohoney and formerly mononymously known as Jooheon, is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Monsta X under Starship Entertainment. He made his solo debut with the EP '' Lights'' in 2023. Yoo Ki-hyun (, born November 22, 1993), known mononymously as Kihyun, is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Monsta X under Starship Entertainment. He made his solo debut with the single album '' Voyager'' in 2022, in addition to having recorded numerous original soundtracks for South Korean television dramas. Kim Hyung-soo (; born December 22, 1990), better known as Brother Su (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and record producer. Su debuted in 2010 and has been signed under Starship Entertainment, Starship Entertainment's subsidiary label Starship X since 2015.
