Sepahan S.C.
Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan Sport Club (, ''Bâšgâh-e Farhangi-Varzeši-ye Fulâd-e Mobârake-ye Sepâhân''), commonly known as Sepahan, is an Iranian sports club based in Isfahan. It is best known for their association football, football section that play in the Persian Gulf Pro League, the highest tier of Iranian football league system. In the 2002–03 Iran Pro League, 2002–03 season, Sepahan ended the total dominance of two Tehran-based clubs, Persepolis F.C., Persepolis and Esteghlal F.C., Esteghlal, to win the Pro League. They are also the first Iranian club to win three consecutive league titles, reach the AFC Champions League final in 2007 AFC Champions League, 2007 and qualify for the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup, becoming the first-ever Iranian representative to the tournament. Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium
Naghsh-e-Jahan Stadium (, ''Varzešgâh-è Naqš-è Jahân'', meaning ''Image of the World Stadium'', named after Naqsh-e Jahan Square), is a Stadium, football stadium in Isfahan, Iran. Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC, , Foolad Mobarakeh) is a private Iranian steel company, located 65 km south west of Esfahan, near the city of Mobarakeh, Esfahan Province, Iran. The Azadegan League (, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 (, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Azadegan League operates on a system of promotion and relegation. The Takht Jamshid Cup (, Jâm-e Taxt-e Jamšid) was a national football league based in Iran which lasted from 1974 to 1979.
