Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS; ) is one of the leading Television in South Korea, South Korean television and radio broadcasters. The broadcaster legally became known as SBS in March 2000, changing its corporate name from Seoul Broadcasting System (). Its flagship terrestrial television television station, station SBS TV broadcasts as Television channel, channel 6 for digital and cable. Established on 14 November 1990, SBS is the largest private broadcasting, private broadcaster in South Korea, and is owned by the Taeyoung Construction. Mok-dong
Mok-dong () is a ward of Yangcheon District, Seoul, South Korea. Commonly referred to as a "special education district", the upper-middle to upper-class neighborhood is best known for its abundance of private institutions, or Hagwons, as well as quality public schools. Korea New Network (KNN) () is the biggest regional free-to-air commercial broadcasting station based in Centum City, a high-tech media development complex within Haeundae in Busan, South Korea. KNN is affiliated with SBS. It was originally founded in April 1994 as Pusan Broadcasting Corporation (PSB) (). ''Hankook Ilbo'' () is a Korean-language daily newspaper in Seoul, South Korea. As of 2017, it had a daily circulation of about 213,200. From 1910 to 1945, Korea was ruled by the Empire of Japan under the name Chōsen (), the Japanese reading of "Joseon". Japan first took Korea into its sphere of influence during the late 1800s.
