Saky Municipality
The Saky City Municipality (, translit. ''Saks'ka mis'krada'') is one of the 25 regions of the Crimean Peninsula, internationally recognized as part of Ukraine, but currently occupied by Russia. The region is located on the western coast of Crimea on the Black Sea's shore. Its administrative centre is the city of Saky. In 2014, the population stood at 25,146. Unlike in the other regions and municipalities of Crimea which contain a number of other settlements under its jurisdiction, the Saky municipality only consists of its administrative center Saky. Name The Saky City Municipality is also known by two other native official names; in Russian as ''Sakskiy gorsovet'' (), and in Crimean Tatar as . Yevpatoria Raion
The Yevpatoria Raion, also transliterated as Yevpatoriiskyi Raion() is a prospective raion (district) of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Ukraine. It was created on September 7, 2023, from the territories of Saky Raion and Chornomorske Raion, along with the Yevpatoria and Saky municipalities. The administrative center is the city of Yevpatoria. Due to the ongoing Russian occupation of Crimea, the Ukrainian government has only ''de jure'' authority over the peninsula, and the raion has not yet been implemented in practice. A previous Yevpatoria Raion existed from 1918 until 1963, when it was abolished, with part becoming the Yevpatoria Municipality and the rest going into Saky Raion.
