Roxy Pro France
The Roxy Pro France is a women's surfing event in the Landes (department) in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in the South West of France. The tour stop will be held in the area of Landes de Gascogne (Landes forest). The event on the Women's World Championship Tour is hosted by World Surf League as part of one of the Atlantic Europe stops on a world tour. Winners Quiksilver#Roxy, Roxy Pro France surfing results since the competition's inception in 1992. The event is held on one of the beaches in any of the neighbouring towns of Capbreton, Hossegor, or Seignosse in Landes (department), Landes (Landes forest), which is located in the France, on Atlantic Europe. The competition is not held annually. Carissa Moore
Carissa Kainani Moore (born August 27, 1992) is an American surfer. She was the first-ever winner of the Olympic gold medal in women's shortboard surfing at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She is also a five-time world champion, winning in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2019 and 2021 on the World Surf League WSL Women's World Tour. Moore was the first surfer in history to win a WSL world title and the Olympic title in the same year. In 2013, she was named by '' Glamour'' magazine as one of their Women of the Year. Sally Fitzgibbons
Sally Fitzgibbons (born 19 December 1990) is an Australian professional surfer on the Association of Surfing Professionals World Tour (2009–2013). In June 2019, she was ranked No. 1 in the world for women's surfing after winning the Rio Pro. Surfing career Fitzgibbons was born in Gerroa, New South Wales. As a 14-year-old, Sally won the ASP Pro Junior open, an event open to any female surfer 21 and younger. Tatiana "Tati" Guimarães Weston-Webb (born May 9, 1996) is a Brazilian surfer based in Kauai, Hawaii. She is also both American and English. She was the only rookie on the professional surfing World Championship Tour in 2015. Weston-Webb wears jersey number 9, and her 2016 'CT rank is number 4. She competed in both the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics for Brazil, winning silver in the latter and because of that she became the first woman surfer from Brazil to win a medal at the Olympics. Tyler Wright (born 31 March 1994) is an Australian professional surfer on the WSL World Tour. She is a consecutive WSL Women's World Champion (2016, 2017). She qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games. The 2015 ASP World Championship Tour (WCT) was the first year of the World Surf League, which grew out of the Association of Surfing Professionals. Men and women competed in separate tours with events taking place from late February to mid-December, at various surfing locations around the world. Laura Louise "Lakey" Peterson (born September 30, 1994) is an American professional surfer. She has been ranked as high as No. 1 by the World Surf League, the highest professional level of women's surfing, and #6 on the ASP Women's World Ranking. In 2009, Peterson landed the first-ever aerial in NSSA women's competition history and won the title.
