Rajkot district is one of the 33 districts of the Indian state of Gujarat. Located in Saurashtra (region), Saurashtra peninsula, Rajkot city is the administrative headquarters of the district. It is the third-most advanced and the fourth-most populous district in Gujarat. Botad District is a district in the state of Gujarat, India. Botad District was formed on August 15, 2013 from the southwestern section of Ahmedabad District and the northwestern part of Bhavnagar District. Erstwhile, it was part of Bhavnagar District. Botad District is surrounded by Surendranagar District to the northeast, Rajkot District to the west, Bhavnagar District and Amreli District to the south and Ahmedabad District to the East. Rajkot International Airport is an international airport and a greenfield airport at Hirasar, Gujarat, India, serving the city of Rajkot and the Saurashtra (region), Saurashtra region of Gujarat. It is located near the National Highway 8B (India, old numbering), National Highway 8B (NH-8B) connecting Ahmedabad and Rajkot. It has a single runway for the operation of ‘C’ category aircraft. Rajkot State was one of the princely states of India during the period of British rule. It was a 9-gun salute state belonging to the Kathiawar Agency of the Bombay Presidency. Jamnagar District
Jamnagar District is a district of Gujarat in Western India. Its headquarters are located in the eponymous city of Jamnagar. It hosts the production facilities of large Indian companies such as Reliance.
