''Passions'' is an American television soap opera that originally aired on NBC from July 5, 1999, to September 7, 2007, and on DirecTV's The 101 Network from September 17, 2007, to August 7, 2008. Created by screenwriter James E. Reilly and produced by NBC Studios, ''Passions'' follows the lives, loves and various romantic and paranormal adventures of the residents of Harmony, a small town in New England with many secrets. Storylines center on the interactions among members of its multi-racial core families: the African-American Russells, the white Cranes and Bennetts, and half-Mexican half-Irish Lopez-Fitzgeralds. The Russell family is a fictional family depicted on the American soap opera ''Passions'', which aired on NBC (1999–2007) and later on DirecTV (2007–2008). The family was created by the soap's founder and head writer James E. Reilly; it originally consisted of four characters—the married couple Eve Russell, Eve and T.C. Russell, and their children Whitney and Simone Russell, Simone. Joshua Ryan Evans (January 10, 1982 – August 5, 2002) was an American actor who became known for his role of Timmy Lenox in the soap opera '' Passions''. Timmy Lenox
Timothy "Timmy" Lenox is a fictional character from the NBC/DirecTV daytime drama '' Passions'' portrayed by Josh Ryan Evans. The actor died of a congenital heart defect the same day his character Timmy died on the show and donated his heart to Charity Standish. Notable storylines Timmy was originally a doll created by the town witch Tabitha Lenox as a sidekick in her various evil schemes against the people of Harmony.
