Ozone Football Club Bengaluru (simply known as Ozone FC) was an Indian professional association football, football club based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Founded in 2015, the club competed in BDFA Super Division, the top division of football in the state. Ozone reached the final round of the I-League 2nd Division in the 2017–18, 2018–19 seasons respectively and were also the winner's of the BDFA Super Division in 2017–18. History Ozone Football Club was launched on 3 November 2015 by the Ozone Group with the goal of making the I-League by 2017. The club were quick to make a mark on the local football scene, winning the BDFA Super Division in December 2015, within their first month of existence. On 2 August 2016, the club roped former Trinidadian international Cornell Glen as their foreign recruit who represented his country at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The Bangalore Football Stadium is a association football, football stadium in Bangalore, Karnataka. It has served as a venue in three editions of the I-League, then top-tier football league in the country. The stadium was the home of Bengaluru FC for one season, when they won the I-League trophy in their first attempt. Deepak Kumar Mondal (born 12 October 1979) is an Indian former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. A graduate of the Tata Football Academy, An Arjuna Award winner, he was one of India's most prominent right backs for over a decade, earning 47 caps with the India national team. The 2017–18 I-League 2nd Division (known as Hero 2017–18 I-League 2nd Division, for sponsorship reasons) was the 11th season of the I-League 2nd Division, the second division Indian football league, since its establishment in 2008. The season started with the preliminary rounds from 14 March to 15 May 2018. The final round of the league took place between 21 May to 30 May 2018 at FSV Arena, Bengaluru. The AFC Champions League Two (abbreviated as the ACL Two or ACL2) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation. Noel Anthony Wilson (born 24 December 1979) is an Indian football coach and former professional footballer who played as a midfielder for FC Kochin, Churchill Brothers, Mohun Bagan, Mohamedan Sporting and Mumbai FC, in the I-League.
