Outsider (1997 Film)
''Outsider'' is a film produced in 1997 in Slovenia by writer and director Andrej Košak. The film was selected as the Slovenian entry for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, Best Foreign Language Film at the 70th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee. The film's action takes place in the 1980s in the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia. It covers issues such as the former Punk rock in Yugoslavia, Yugoslav punk rock scene and recreational drug use, drug use in the year when Josip Broz Tito died. The story begins in autumn 1979 when Sead Mulahasanović, whose father was a Warrant Officer (''zastavnik'') of Yugoslav People's Army moved to Ljubljana and started attending one of the local secondary schools. The Restarts
The Restarts are a street punk band based in London. The Restarts were formed in 1995 in London with Darragh O'Neill on drums, Kieran Plunkett from Armed and Hammered on bass guitar, and Mik Useless on the guitar. They played many shows in the UK as a trio until Useless left, at which point Alan Campbell joined the band. With Campbell on guitar, they recorded their album ''System Error'' LP, but due to his commitments to the UK Subs he had to leave. In April 2003 Robin Licker from the Short Bus Window Lickers joined the Restarts as their new guitarist. They toured extensively in Europe and US. ''Outsiders'' is a British comedy game show broadcast on Dave. Pairs of comedians compete in survival-themed tasks for badges awarded by the host, David Mitchell. On release, the show was widely compared to '' Taskmaster'', a Dave original programme in which comedians were set tasks to complete as individuals, which had moved to Channel 4 in 2020. ''Subterranean Jungle'' is the seventh studio album by the American punk rock band Ramones, released by Sire Records on February 28, 1983. Overall, the album featured a return to a somewhat more hard punk rock style compared to the band's previous two albums '' End of the Century'' in 1980, and '' Pleasant Dreams'' in 1981, which were the most pop-focused of the band's career. This direction was encouraged by guitarist Johnny Ramone. The recording sessions saw disputes between band members, mainly due to struggles with alcohol addiction by Joey Ramone and Marky Ramone, and the drug addiction of Dee Dee Ramone.
