Neo Geo Games
The Neo Geo is a video game platform developed and designed by SNK and supported from 1990 to 2004. It was released in three different iterations: a ROM cartridge-based arcade system board called the Multi Video System (MVS), a cartridge-based home video game console called the Advanced Entertainment System (AES), and a CD-ROM-based home console called the Neo Geo CD. Each system features similar hardware and runs the same library of games through different media formats. Most games were first released on the MVS then rereleased for the home consoles, however some never saw a home console release and a few were released exclusively for the Neo Geo CD. The , stylized as NEO•GEO, is a video game platform released in 1990 by Japanese game company SNK, SNK Corporation. It was initially released in two ROM cartridge-based formats: an arcade system board (Multi Video System; MVS) and a home video game console (Advanced Entertainment System; AES). A CD-ROM-based home console iteration, the Neo Geo CD, was released in 1994. The arcade system can hold multiple cartridges that can be exchanged out, a unique feature that contrasted to the dedicated single-game Arcade cabinet, arcade cabinets of its time, making it popular with arcade operators. ADK (company)
, formerly known as , was a Japanese video game developer founded in 1980. ADK began as a developer of arcade games and is best known for their library of SNK Neo Geo (system), Neo Geo titles, including for its home consoles, produced in partnership with SNK. Most notable among these are their fighting games and, in particular, the ''World Heroes'' series and ''Aggressors of Dark Kombat''. The company closed with properties sold to SNK Playmore in 2003. Baseball Stars 2
is a baseball sports arcade game released by SNK in 1992 for the Neo-Geo console. A less detailed console version was released for the NES by Romstar the same year. Neo Geo version The player can select from one of 18 teams across two leagues: Exciting League (beginner) & Fighting League (expert). is a software company located in Japan. It was founded in 1982 by and later became corporate on August 8, 1983, while revealing itself as "Visco" in Japan. They originally developed video games for several platforms from the arcades and NES, to the Nintendo 64 and Neo Geo in the past. When Visco was one of the companies under the Taito umbrella, some of its titles back then were labeled "Taito". They also teamed up with Seta and Sammy in developing arcade games powered by the SSV (Sammy, Seta and Visco) arcade system board until Sammy fully acquired noted game company Sega under a new company titled Sega Sammy Holdings in 2004, while Seta's parent company Aruze announced in December 2008 that Seta decided to close their doors after 23 years of existence. , known professionally as , was a Japanese comedian. He was born in Higashimurayama, Tokyo. He started his career as an assistant to the comedy band The Drifters, led by Chōsuke Ikariya. Art Of Fighting 2
is a fighting game developed and released by SNK in arcades on 3 February 1994. It is a direct sequel to ''Art of Fighting'', involving both new and returning characters competing against each other in the King of Fighters tournament. The plot features Ryo Sakazaki and his friends as they work together to take down the mafia host Geese Howard, whose forces manipulated them in the first ''Art of Fighting'' game. It retains most of the characters from the first ''Art of Fighting'' rather than just Ryo and Robert Garcia. The gameplay remains faithful to the original ''Art of Fighting'', including Desperation Moves and taunts that are used strategically. This game was promoted with ''The King of Fighters '94'' released in the same year by the company. It was ported to the Neo Geo AES, Neo Geo CD and Super Famicom. Art Of Fighting (video Game)
is a fighting game released by SNK on arcades on 24 September 1992. It was eventually ported to the Neo Geo AES, Neo Geo CD, PC Engine Arcade CD-ROM², Sega Genesis, and SNES. The game follows two Karate users known as Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia (Art of Fighting), Robert Garcia as they travel to fight criminals from the Southtown city in order to find Ryo's missing sister Yuri. The game employs special moves and stronger Desperation Moves that can be performed strategically by filling the player's energy bar and removing enemies by taunting them. Andro Dunos
is a scrolling shooter arcade video game developed by Visco Corporation and originally published by SNK on June 15, 1992. It is the first title to be created by Visco for both the Neo Geo MVS (arcade) and Neo Geo AES (home) platforms. ''Andro Dunos'', along with 1996's '' Breakers'' are the only two Visco developed games to be officially licensed for distribution on the Neo Geo AES platform. ''Alpha Mission II'' is a vertically scrolling full screen shoot 'em up released by SNK in 1991 for the Neo Geo arcade and home systems. It is the sequel to the 1985 arcade game '' Alpha Mission''. It was later released for the Neo Geo CD in 1994 and for the PlayStation Portable in 2010. The player controls a fighter spacecraft (Armored Scrum Object) and can shoot enemies in the air, bomb enemies on the ground, collect power-ups, and defeat bosses to advance levels. Gameplay The game controls uses 2 or 3 buttons used depending on the selected shuttle mode.
