The National Collegiate Athletic Association – South (NCAA South), established in 1999, is a regional athletic association for colleges and universities in the National Capital Region and Calabarzon regions in the Philippines. Currently, the NCAA-South has eleven member schools: First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities, Colegio De San Juan De Letran - Calamba, De La Salle Lipa, Lyceum of the Philippines University–Batangas, Philippine Christian University– Dasmariñas, San Pablo Colleges, Emilio Aguinaldo College Cavite, University of Perpetual Help System Laguna, San Beda College Alabang, TRACE College and University of Batangas. The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a nonprofit organization that regulates College athletics in the United States, student athletics among about 1,100 schools in the United States, and Simon Fraser University, 1 in Canada. It also organizes the Athletics (physical culture), athletic programs of colleges and helps over 500,000 college student athletes who compete annually in college sports. Letran Knights
The Letran Knights and Lady Knights are the collegiate varsity teams representing Colegio de San Juan de Letran in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The high school varsity teams are called the ''Squires''. The college's varsity teams also participate in other sports leagues such as the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup, Fr. Letran Colors
The Colegio de San Juan de Letran (), also referred to by its acronym CSJL, is a private Catholic coeducational basic and higher education institution owned and run by the friars of the Order of Preachers in Intramuros, Manila, Philippines. It was founded in 1620. Colegio de San Juan de Letran has the distinction of being the oldest college in the Philippines and the oldest secondary institution in Asia.
