Muar District
The Muar District is a Districts of Malaysia, district in Johor, Malaysia. Muar is located at the mouth of the Muar River, on the coast of the Straits of Malacca. The Muar District covers , with a population of 233,779 (2010). The district borders Tangkak District to the west, Segamat District to the north, and Batu Pahat District to the east. Muar Bypass (), or Federal Route 224, is a major highway bypass and the first highway built in Bandar Maharani Muar town, Muar, a royal town in Johor, Malaysia. The highway bypass linking Parit Bunga in the northwest to Parit Sakai in the southeast. The Kilometre Zero of the Federal Route 224 starts at Parit Sakai junctions. Bukit Bakri
Bakri or often Bukit Bakri ( Jawi: بوكيت بكري; ) is a town in Muar District, Johor, Malaysia. It is located along Federal Route 24 in Muar district, just ten kilometres east of Muar town. In 1991, it had a population of 10,000, which doubled by the 2000 census to 20,123. Now Bukit Bakri population is 30,280. Bukit Bakri is located on the eastern end of Jalan Bakri (part of Federal Highway 24), which is the main road that connects Bakri Town to Bandar Maharani (Muar City Centre). Pagoh ( Jawi: ڤاڬوه) is a town in Muar District, Johor, Malaysia. Pagoh is situated from Muar via Johor State Route J32 (Muar–Labis trunk road) and is accessible via one of the main interchanges on the North–South Expressway, the major expressway on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
