Massey Energy Company was a coal extractor in the United States with substantial operations in West Virginia, Kentucky and Virginia. By revenue, it was the fourth largest producer of coal in the United States and the largest coal producer in Central Appalachia. By coal production weight, it was the sixth largest producer of coal in the United States. Massey's mines yielded around 40 million tons annually. Masei, Mas'ei, or Masse (—Hebrew language, Hebrew for "journeys," the second word, and the first distinctive word, in the parashah) is the 43rd weekly Torah portion (, ''parashah'') in the annual Judaism, Jewish cycle of Torah reading and the 10th and last in the Book of Numbers. The parashah comprises Numbers 33:1–36:13. The parashah discusses the Stations of the Exodus, stations of the Israelites' journeys, instructions for taking the land of Israel, cities for the Levites and Right of asylum, refuge, and the daughters of Zelophehad. It is made up of 5,773 Hebrew letters, 1,461 Hebrew words, 132 Chapters and verses of the Bible, verses, and 189 lines in a Torah Scroll (, ''Sefer Torah''). Jews generally read it in July or August. Massey Ferguson is an agricultural machinery manufacturer, established in 1953 through the merger of farm equipment makers Massey-Harris of Canada and the Ferguson Company of Ireland. Massey Brothers
Massey Brothers (Pemberton) Limited was a building and manufacturing company operating through much of the 20th century. It was formed in 1904 by the brothers William, Isaac and Thomas Massey, timber merchants and building contractors based in Pemberton, Greater Manchester, two miles west of Wigan. During the first fifteen years they built schools, mills, cinemas and houses and in 1919 started with the construction of bodies for cars, vans and charabancs. In the early 1920s they were agents for Ford cars and passenger vehicles, Tilling Stevens Petrol Electric buses and Columbia Six motor cars. Massey High School is a co-educational state secondary school in West Auckland, New Zealand established in 1969. The school is located on the western edge of the city, thus obtaining students from both suburban and rural backgrounds. In 2017 it was rated decile 4. History Established in 1969, the school was initially based at Henderson High School until the buildings on the current site at Don Buck Road were completed in 1970. Initially the school had a rural makeup but as the city of Auckland spread to the west and north the school experienced significant roll growth and an increase in suburban students. Massey University () is a Public university, public research university in New Zealand that provides internal and distance education. The university has campuses in Auckland, Palmerston North, and Wellington. Data from Universities New Zealand shows that in 2024 the university had approximately 26,505 students enrolled, making it the country's second-largest university. Research is undertaken on all three campuses and people from over 130 countries study at the university. According to the university's annual report, in 2023, around 17.8% of students were based at the Auckland campus, 19.2% at the Manawatū (Palmerston North) campus, and 13.9% at the Wellington campus. Massey College is the postgraduate University of Toronto#Colleges, college of the University of Toronto located at the University of Toronto#St. George campus, St. George campus in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
