Manipal Academy Of Higher Education
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is a private deemed university in the Udupi district of Karnataka, India. The school has campuses in Mangaluru, Bengaluru, and Jamshedpur in India, as well as global campuses in Dubai and Malaysia. Its sister universities are Manipal University Jaipur and Sikkim Manipal University, all managed by the Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG). Governance At MAHE, Dr. Ramdas Madhav Pai is the Chancellor. Dr. Ranjan Pai acts as the President, while Dr. Hebri Subhaskrishna Ballal holds the position of Pro Chancellor. Institution Of Eminence
Institutions of Eminence (IoE) is a recognition status set up in 2017 for higher education institutes in India, by the University Grants Commission. Recognised institutions are granted more autonomy, both administratively and academically, are allowed to open offshore campuses, and enjoy better collaboration opportunities with global universities. The plan encompasses twenty institutions, twelve of which have already been declared Institutes of Eminence . Public institutions are granted up to ; no funding is awarded to private institutions. University Of Mysore
The University of Mysore is a public state university in Mysore, Karnataka, India. The university was founded during the reign of Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV and the premiership of Sir M. Visvesvaraya. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission for offering higher studies degree courses on-campus as well as online. It was inaugurated on 27 July 1916. Rajeev Chandrasekhar (born 31 May 1964) is an Indian entrepreneur and politician currently serving as the state president of BJP Kerala. National Institutional Ranking Framework
National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a ranking methodology released annually by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India. The framework was approved by the former Ministry of Human Resource Development (now the Ministry of Education) and launched by the Minister on 29 September 2015. Depending on their areas of operation, institutions have been ranked under 11 different categories – overall, university, colleges, engineering, management, pharmacy, law, medical, architecture, dental and research. The Framework uses several parameters for ranking purposes like resources, research, and stakeholder perception. The ''Times Higher Education World University Rankings'', often referred to as the THE Rankings, is the annual publication of university rankings by the ''Times Higher Education'' magazine.
