London EPrix
The London ePrix is an annual race of the open-wheel car, single-seater, Electric car, electrically powered Formula E championship, held in London, United Kingdom. It was first raced in the 2014–15 Formula E season, 2014–15 season until the 2015–16 Formula E season, 2015–16 season. The event was originally meant to return for the 2019–20 Formula E season, 2019–20 season at a new location around (and through) ExCeL London before being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event at the new location was eventually held in the 2020–21 Formula E World Championship, following season. Battersea Park Circuit The first two editions of the London ePrix took place at the Battersea Park Street Circuit, a temporary street circuit at Battersea Park in London, England. The track was in length and featured 17 turns. The track was designed by Formula E's London event team and British architect Simon Gibbons. 2024 London EPrix
The 2024 London ePrix, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2024 Hankook London E-Prix was a pair of Formula E electric motorsport, electric car races held at the ExCeL London#Motorsport, ExCeL London Circuit in the Royal Docks area of Newham, London on 20 and 21 July 2024. They served as the 15th and 16th rounds of the 2023–24 Formula E season and the 6th running of the London ePrix. Pascal Wehrlein, driving for Porsche Formula E Team, Porsche won the first race, ahead of Mitch Evans and Sébastien Buemi, driving for Jaguar Racing, Jaguar and Envision Racing, Envision, respectively. The second race was won by Oliver Rowland, driving for Nismo, Nissan, ahead of Wehrlein and Evans, who were first and second, respectively, in the first race. Wehrlein was crowned World Champion in the second race.
