Lohorung People
Lohorung are a major subgroup of Kirati people and ethnic native people of eastern Nepal. The Lohorung homeland is Sankhuwasabha district in the northern part of the Arun River, China-Nepal, Arun watershed, a tributary to the Koshi River, Koshi. At present they are found in eight other List of districts of Nepal, districts of Nepal: Ilam district, Ilam, Jhapa district, Jhapa, Sunsari district, Sunsari, Morang district, Morang, Dhankuta district, Dhankuta, Terhathum District, Terhathum, Lalitpur district, Nepal, Lalitpur and Kathmandu district, Kathmandu. They also live in northeastern states of India: Darjeeling, Kalimpong & Kumai in West Bengal, Sikkim and Assam, and even Bhutan, Australia, United Kingdom and United States.
