Link Light Rail
Link light rail is a light rail system with some rapid transit characteristics that serves the Seattle metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Washington (state), Washington. It is managed by Sound Transit in partnership with local transit providers, and consists of three non-connected lines: the 1 Line (Sound Transit), 1 Line (formerly Central Link) in King County, Washington, King County and Snohomish County, Washington, Snohomish County, which travels for between Lynnwood, Washington, Lynnwood, Seattle, and Seattle–Tacoma International Airport; the 2 Line (Sound Transit), 2 Line in King County's Eastside (King County, Washington), Eastside region, which travels for between Bellevue, Washington, Bellevue and Redmond, Washington, Redmond; and the T Line (Sound Transit), T Line (formerly Tacoma Link) in Pierce County, Washington, Pierce County, which runs for between Downtown Tacoma and Tacoma Dome Station. Mount Baker Station
Mount Baker station is a light rail Metro station, station located in Seattle, Washington. It is situated between the Columbia City station, Columbia City and Beacon Hill station (Sound Transit), Beacon Hill stations on the 1 Line (Sound Transit), 1 Line, which runs from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport to Downtown Seattle, the University of Washington, and Northgate, Seattle, Northgate as part of the Link light rail system. The elevated station consists of two side platforms located west of the intersection of Rainier Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Way (Seattle), Martin Luther King Jr. Way in the Mount Baker, Seattle, Mount Baker neighborhood, part of Seattle's Rainier Valley, Seattle, Rainier Valley. A light rail station in the Mount Baker area was first proposed in 1995 and approved the following year.
