Liga Premier De México
Liga Premier is a professional association football league in Mexico and the third level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Segunda División de México (1950–2017). It has 52 participating clubs, divided into two divisions (Serie A de México, Serie A and Serie B de México, Serie B). They compete from the fall to spring each season, promotion and relegation between each group, and promotion to Liga de Expansión MX and relegation to Liga TDP within the league system. History The champions of the 1993–94 Segunda División season was the last to be promoted to the Liga MX, Primera División. In 1994–95 season, the Mexican Football Federation, FMF created the Primera División A (renamed Ascenso MX in 2012) with 15 teams from the Segunda División, and all other teams remained in the league that continued to be called Segunda División but at the new third level of Mexican football. Serie B De México
The Serie B is a Mexican association football league. Fifteen teams compete in one group. Since the 2024–25 season, it is two tournament per season. The top 8 teams advances directly to the Liguilla to play for promotion to Liga Premier – Serie A, and the stadium must meet the requirements to promote as well. In the 2020–21 season, Serie B was on hiatus due to COVID-19, but Serie B was reactivated for the 2021–22 season. Asociación Civil Club Deportivo Mineros de Guayana, known as Mineros de Guayana or simply Mineros, is a professional football club based in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. History The Colegio Loyola Gumilla's field, located in Puerto Ordaz, was used in football matches. The people who played at the field decided to found a football club. On 11 November 1981, the club was founded as Club Deportivo Mineros de Guayana. On 20 November 1981, the club's foundation constitutive act was signed. Los Cabos United is a Mexican professional football team based in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur that plays in the Liga Premier de México. History The team was officially presented on January 25, 2022, and it was announced that it would become part of the Liga Premier de México since 2022–23 season, along with Rodrigo Ruiz being announced as the first manager of the club. In February 2022 the team was integrated in the Serie A de México. Los Cabos United made its official debut on August 27, 2022, defeating Halcones de Zapopan 2–1. Tepatitlán de Morelos is a city and municipality founded in 1530, in the central Mexican state of Jalisco. It is located in the area known as Los Altos de Jalisco (the 'Highlands of Jalisco'), about 70 km east of state capital Guadalajara, Jalisco, Guadalajara. It is part of the macroregion of the Bajío. Club de Fútbol Loros de la Universidad de Colima was Mexican football club that lastly played in the Ascenso MX, the second tier division of Mexican football. The club was based in Colima, Mexico. The team participated in the Ascenso MX during the 2016–17 season after earning promotion by winning the Torneo Clausura 2015 Championship over Cruz Azul Hidalgo and the Final de Ascenso against U.A. Estado de Mexico (winners of Apertura 2014).
