Jakarta EPrix
The Jakarta ePrix is an annual race of the open-wheel car, single-seater, Electric car, electrically powered Formula E championship, which is held in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is the first Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, FIA-sanctioned race in the country since the 2006–07 A1 Grand Prix of Nations, Indonesia, A1 GP Grand Prix of Nations race in Sentul in 2006 and the first ever motor racing event to be administered directly by the FIA. The plan to include Jakarta as part of the 2020 Formula E Championship was conceived in Monaco in April 2019, and discussed in New York City in July 2019. In August, the decision was made and the event was officially announced in September 2019, with Jakarta originally intended to hold the event for five consecutive years starting from 2020. Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit
The Jakarta International e-Prix Circuit is a racing circuit in Ancol, Jakarta. It was built for the Jakarta ePrix of the open-wheel car, single-seater, Electric car, electrically powered Formula E championship. The first edition of Jakarta ePrix was held here in 2021–22 Formula E World Championship, 2022. Background The proposal of the Jakarta ePrix was first announced in July 2019, with mid-2020 announced as the target date for an inaugural race. The National Monument (, abbreviated Monas) is a 132 m (433 ft) obelisk in the centre of Merdeka Square, Central Jakarta. It is the national monument of the Republic of Indonesia, built to commemorate the struggle for Indonesian independence. The Diriyah ePrix was a race of the single-seater, electrically powered Formula E championship, held in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. It was first held as part of the 2018–19 season and was the first Formula E race to be held in the Middle East. The second Diriyah ePrix was held on 22 and 23 November 2019. The Hong Kong ePrix was an annual race of the single-seater, electrically powered Formula E championship, held at the Hong Kong Central Harbourfront Circuit in Hong Kong. The track was touted as a potential venue for the all-electric series’ inaugural race. It was first raced in the 2016–17 season as the first major international motorsport event in Hong Kong. The Beijing ePrix was an automobile race of the Formula E championship in Beijing, People's Republic of China. It was first raced in the 2014-15 season, of which the 2014 Beijing ePrix was the first Formula E race in history. Circuit The ePrix took place at the Beijing Olympic Green Circuit.
