Gonzaga (Emilian language#Dialects, Upper Mantuan: ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about southeast of Milan and about south of Mantua (commune), Mantua. Located in a region known as the "Lower Mantuan" (''Bassa Mantovana'') is notable for being the ancestral home of the House of Gonzaga, rulers of the Duchy of Mantua between 1328 and 1707. Luiz Gonzaga
Luiz Gonzaga do Nascimento (standard orthography 'Luís'; ; December 13, 1912 – August 2, 1989) was a Brazilian singer, songwriter, musician and poet and one of the most influential figures of Brazilian popular music in the twentieth century. He has been credited with having presented the rich universe of Northeastern musical genres to all of Brazil, having popularized the musical genre baião and has been called a "revolutionary" by Antônio Carlos Jobim. According to Caetano Veloso, he was the first significant cultural event with mass appeal in Brazil. Luiz Gonzaga received the Shell prize for Brazilian Popular Music in 1984 and was only the fourth artist to receive this prize after Pixinguinha, Antônio Carlos Jobim and Dorival Caymmi. Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Kolese Gonzaga is a private Catholic secondary school, located in Pejaten Barat, Jakarta, Indonesia. Gonzaga Regional High School is an educational establishment located in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The school began as a Jesuit sponsored all-boys school from grades 9 to 11. Mary Gonzaga Barry
Mary "Gonzaga" Barry (27 July 1834 – 15 March 1915) was an Irish Catholic religious sister whose life work led to the establishment of Loreto Sister schools across Australia. Biography Mary Barry was born in Wexford, Ireland, to John Barry and his wife Elizabeth. Through Mary's childhood, Ireland was experiencing the Great Famine. Despite this, Mary was educated by the Loreto Sisters in Ireland before entering the I.B.V.M in 1853, at the age of 19. In 1875, the first Loreto Sisters, led by Gonzaga Barry travelled from Ireland to Australia and at the request of Michael O'Connor, the Bishop of Ballarat, agreed to establish Catholic schools for girls. Uganda Martyrs
The Uganda Martyrs are a group of 22 Catholic Church, Catholic and 23 Anglicanism, Anglican converts to Christianity in the History of Buganda, kingdom of Buganda, now part of Uganda, who were executed between 31 January 1885 and 27 January 1887. They were killed on orders of Mwanga II of Buganda, Mwanga II, the ''Kabaka of Buganda, Kabaka'' (King) of Buganda. The deaths took place at a time when there was a three-way religious struggle for political influence at the Buganda royal court.
