FC Vestsjælland
Football Club Vestsjælland (), commonly referred to as FC Vestsjælland or simply FCV, was a Danish association football, football club formed in Slagelse, Denmark on 1 July 2008. Nicknamed “Vikingerne” (the Vikings), the club enjoyed some success during their brief existence, rising from the Danish 2nd Division to the Danish Superliga. They were also finalists for the 2014–15 Danish Cup, the nation’s official single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition. The club, located to in the southeast of Slagelse, included a senior level team, reserve team, and two youth teams at the under-17 and under-19 levels. Home matches for the senior team were played at Slagelse Stadium, Harboe Arena Slagelse with a maximum capacity of 10,000, including 3,300 seats. While the reserve team would occasionally play matches at the stadium, they would often play instead at one of two artificial turf pitches located just outside of the stadium. Slagelse Stadium
Slagelse Stadium (Danish language, Danish: Slagelse Stadion; currently known as Harboe Arena Slagelse for sponsorship reasons) is a sports center located in Slagelse, Denmark, which, among other things, is used for athletics and the running of football matches on the associated stadium, including home games for Slagelse B&I. Formerly, its elite project FC Vestsjælland also used the stadium as its home ground. The sports complex was built in 1927 by Slagelse Municipality, among others, as a result of the complete merging of Slagelse Boldklub and Slagelse Idræts-Forening to Slagelse B&I i 1919. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000, of which 3,300 are seating. The stadium record of 9,023 spectators dates back to the early 1970s, when it hosted with a division match in Danish Superliga, Danish top tier between Slagelse B&I and Holbæk B&I. Garvergården
Garvergården ( lit. "The Tanner's House") is a half-timbered building complex from circa 1600 situated in Vestergade in Køge, Denmark. Owned by shoemakers and tanners for almost 200 years, from 1732, until the early 1920s, it bears testament to a time when Køge was a centre for shoemaking and tanning. The building fronting the street and a side wing on its rear are listed. History Built between 1595 and 1600, Garvergården is the oldest building in Vestergade. It was one of few houses in the street that survived the great fire of 1633 which destroyed large parts of western and southern Køge. The first known owner of the property was skipper Albret Gudmandsen. He died in 1634 and shortly thereafter his widow married another skipper, Mads Nielsen, who died in 1646. Alderstrøst refers to two residential complexes built by Association of Craftsmen in Copenhagen to provide affordable housing for elderly, indigent members and their widows in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The oldest is located on Nørrebrogade (Nørrebrogade 17, Baggesensgade 10 and Blågårdsgade 9). The other one is located at the corner of Nørre Allé (No. 15–19) and Møllegade (No. 28–30).
