The Swiss League, also known as the Sky Swiss League for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of the main professional ice hockey league in Switzerland, behind the National League (ice hockey), National League. Marco Mathys (born 5 July 1987) is a Swiss footballer who plays for FC Solothurn in the Swiss 1. Liga. Career Early career Mathys came up through the youth ranks of hometown club SC Derendingen. Concordia Basel In July 2006, Mathys moved to FC Concordia Basel. In three seasons with the club, he made 79 league appearances, scoring eight times. Biel/Benne In July 2009, Mathys moved to Swiss Challenge League club FC Biel-Bienne on a free transfer. He made his league debut for the club on 26 July 2009 in a 2–0 loss to FC Vaduz. Robin Huser (born 24 January 1998, in Recherswil) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Huser started his youth football with local club FC Subingen. In 2010 he moved to the youth of FC Solothurn and another two years later he moved to the youth division of FC Basel. In the summer of 2014 he advanced to their U-21 team, who played in the Promotion League, the third tier of Swiss football. During their 2014–15 season under head coach Paulo Sousa, Huser also advanced to Basel's first team and appeared in 12 test games. The Uhrencup is a association football, club football tournament, held annually in Grenchen and Biel/Bienne, Biel in Switzerland. The Uhrencup is seen as a testament to the major influence that is exercised by the local watchmaking industry on the cultural lives of the area's residents ( is German for "watches"). The tournament usually features four teams (sometimes more), each playing two matches, and is held in July as a Exhibition game, friendly tournament, the format of which tends to be fluid.
