FC Arsenal Kyiv
Football Club Arsenal Kyiv () is a Ukrainian Association football, football club based in Kyiv. In 2019, the club's professional team was dissolved, but its junior teams continue to compete in city competitions. The club claims to be a successor of Kyiv Arsenal factory team which traces its history back to 1925. The original factory team used to compete in the Soviet Class B (later reorganized as Soviet Second League), but was relegated in 1964 and officially dissolved (lost professional status). The football club of the Ukrainian post-Soviet period was created in 1993 and brought to Kyiv from Boryspil by a geological company Geoton which was one of main sponsors of the Football Federation of Ukraine and Ukraine national football team in the beginning. Shchaslyve, Boryspil Raion, Kyiv Oblast
Shchaslyve () is a village in Boryspil Raion, Kyiv Oblast that borders Kyiv city. It hosts the administration of Prystolychna rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Along with a settlement Prolisky, it composes the Shchaslyve Rural council (Ukraine), rural council which is the biggest council in the district. The village and the council are located along the Kyiv-Kharkiv highway Highway M03 (Ukraine), M03 on the way to the Boryspil International Airport. The village contains sports facility and used to house the FC Knyazha Shchaslyve. Since 2014 in Shchaslyve plays the FC Arsenal-Kyiv. The village was created in 1969 as part of Bortnychi state farm. The Soviet Cup, or USSR Cup (),, , , (Moldovan Cyrillic: Купа УРСС), , , . was the premier football cup competition in the Soviet Union conducted by the Football Federation of the Soviet Union. The 1991–92 season of the tournament was known as Soviet/CIS Cup (). As a knockout tournament it was conducted parallel to the All-Union league competitions in double round-robin format. The winner of the competition was awarded a qualification to the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, unless it already qualified for the European Cup, in turn passed the qualification to the finalist. In case if a team would win the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and not win its national league cup titles the next year, it qualified to the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup along with the new cup holder. The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine () is the ministry of defence, ministry of the Government of Ukraine, Ukrainian government that oversees national defence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. FC Borysfen Boryspil
FC Borysfen Boryspil is a formerly professional Ukrainian football club from Boryspil, Ukraine. The club was created as a phoenix club in 1997 by Ihor Kovalevych after disagreement in FC CSKA Kyiv (today FC Arsenal Kyiv). The history of the club is controversial and its admission to professional competitions is dubious. In mid 1990s the original team of Zlobenko reached some agreement with the Central Sports Club of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (CSK ZSU) after which there was established a joint team "CSKA-Borysfen" that became the first successful debutant of the Ukrainian Vyshcha Liha (today Ukrainian Premier League) finishing among top 5 at the end of season. The Ukrainian Second League (, ''Druha Liha'') is a professional football league in Ukraine which is part of the Professional Football League of Ukraine, a collective member of the Ukrainian Association of Football. As the third tier it was established in 1992 as the Transitional League and changed its name the next season. The league is lower than the Ukrainian First League (''Persha Liha'') and the lowest level of professional football competitions in the country. Since 1996 the league, after being merged with its lower tier (in 1992–1995 there was the Third League), consists of two main regions roughly north-west and south-east. Ukrainian Third League
The Ukrainian Third League (, ''Tretia Liha''), until 1994 known as the ''Transitional League'' (), was part of the Ukrainian semi-professional football clubs competitions. In 1994, it was renamed as Third League and granted the status of professionals, but during a winter break of 1995 it was decided to discontinue it and merge back with the Ukrainian Second League. Phoenix Club (sports)
The term phoenix club is used in professional team sports to refer to a new entity that is set up to replace the same club that has failed in business terms but not in sporting terms, and generally involves the continuation of the sporting activity. In some cases, the phoenix club is created by the supporters of the club which has ended, or seems to be on the point of ending. A phoenix club will often have a very similar (although, for legal reasons, not identical) name and logo to the original club, and will also use a similar playing kit.
