Tracy Hickman
Tracy Raye Hickman (born November 26, 1955) is an American fantasy author and designer of games and virtual reality (VR) experiences. He co-authored the original ''Dragonlance'' novels with Margaret Weis as well as numerous other books. He also designed and created role playing game material while working for TSR, Inc., TSR and has cowritten novels with his wife, Laura Hickman. He is the author or co-author of over 60 books. Early life Tracy Hickman was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. His parents instilled in him a love of reading; he recalls visiting the local bookmobile with them. Hickman took a particular interest in the science fiction genre. He graduated from Provo High School in 1974. His major interests were drama, music, and Air Force JROTC. George Barr (artist)
George Edward Barr (January 30, 1937 – April 19, 2025) was an American science fiction and fantasy artist. Early life and education George Barr was born in Tucson, Arizona, on January 30, 1937, and grew up in Salt Lake City. His parents related that Barr started drawing at age 2 after his older sister was complimented on drawings she had done in kindergarten. At age 13, he became a fan of science fiction when his father brought home a copy of ''Amazing Stories''. While in high school, Barr studied art under prominent local landscape artist Jack Vigo; after graduation, he took a commercial art class, but found little value because the class concentrated on only the commercial art skills that would be needed in the Salt Lake City market, while Barr dreamed of creating science fiction and fantasy-themed art. Jeff Easley (born 1954) is an oil painter who creates fantasy Work of art, artwork for role-playing games, comics, and magazines, as well as non-fantasy commercial art.
