Devil's Due Publishing (often abbreviated as DDP) is an independent comic book publisher in the United States. Based in Chicago, Illinois, DDP is best known for its wide selection of genres, including licensed and original creator-owned properties which populate its monthly comic book series and graphic novels. Though principally a publishing company, DDP has also produced a stage play based on the Hack/Slash comic series, ''Stagefright'', in conjunction with the New Millennium Theatre Company that played at the National Pastime Theater in Chicago from September 23 to October 29, 2005. ''Bleeding Cool'' is an Internet news site, focusing on comics, television, film, board games, and video games. Owned by Avatar Press, it was launched by Rich Johnston in 2009. Avatar Press also publishes an associated magazine, also called ''Bleeding Cool''. Content Among Bleeding Cool's features are a power list detailing the most influential people in the comics industry. In 2012, Bleeding Cool covered sexual harassment accusations leveled against DC Comics editor Eddie Berganza, beginning with an incident at WonderCon in Anaheim, California. Though that initial article was a blind item that did not name the victim or accused, four years later, Bleeding Cool named Berganza when it accused him of sexual harassment, and detailed how he had risen in the ranks at DC even after the accusations became known to his employers. A megacity is a very large city, typically with a population of more than 10 million people. The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) in its 2018 "World Urbanization Prospects" report defines megacities as urban agglomerations with over 10 million inhabitants. A University of Bonn report holds that they are "usually defined as metropolitan areas with a total population of 10 million or more people". Elsewhere in other sources, from five to eight million is considered the minimum threshold, along with a population density of at least 2,000 per square kilometre. Elsinore (comics)
''Elsinore'' is an American comic book published by Devil's Due Productions. It is written by Ken Lillie-Paetz ''Elsinore'' tells the tale of Murchison, a disgraced doctor who was recruited by the titular asylum in order to help prevent the apocalypse. The series was slated to run for nine issues and eventually be collected into a trade paperback. Only five issues were ever published. Issue five shipped in February 2006. Mark Sparacio did the art on issue five under the Devil's Due publishing house. History The comic was originally published by Alias Comics, but moved to their current publisher as of issue 4. While at Alias, the book was pencilled by Brian Denham. Denham also submitted a few pages to issue 4 (amid an array of guest artists), as well as covers to issues 4 and 5. is a 2005 action-adventure game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and Capcom and published by Capcom for the GameCube and PlayStation 2.
