''Côte d'Azur'' is a 1932 French comedy film directed by Roger Capellani and starring Simone Héliard, Robert Burnier and Robert Arnoux.Crisp p.391 It was produced by the French subsidiary of Paramount Pictures at the company's Joinville Studios in Paris. Synopsis Hélène is a telephone operator who is in love with her boss, who unfortunately never looks at her. During a trip to the Côte d'Azur however, she makes her fall in love with him. Roger Capellani
Roger Capellani (31 January 1905 – 30 May 1940) was a French film director, the son of film director and screenwriter Albert Capellani and the nephew of the actor Paul Capellani. He shot French versions of foreign films for the studios of the Paramount Pictures located at Joinville-le-Pont (Val-de-Marne), and worked several times for the screenwriter Saint-Granier.
