Cássio Albuquerque dos Anjos (born 12 August 1980), known simply as Cássio, is a Brazilian former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Club career Brazil During most of his career in his homeland, Rio de Janeiro-born Cássio played mostly for modest clubs. He started out at Olaria Atlético Clube in 2001 and moved to Bangu Atlético Clube the following year, where he appeared in the 2002 Campeonato Carioca, 2002 edition of the Campeonato Carioca as the first-team regulars were playing in the Torneio Rio – São Paulo. Cássio returned to Olaria in 2003, after a short stint at America Football Club (Rio de Janeiro), America Football Club. The Taça da Liga (), known outside Portugal as Portuguese League Cup, is an annual club football competition organised by the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional (LPFP) for teams competing in the top two tiers of Portuguese football – the Primeira Liga and Liga Portugal 2. Unlike Portugal's other domestic cup competition, the Taça de Portugal, the winners of the Taça da Liga do not qualify for European competitions. The 2010–11 Taça da Liga was the fourth edition of the Portuguese Taça da Liga. The first matches were played on 8 August 2010. The final was played on 23 April 2011 at the Estádio Cidade de Coimbra, where Benfica beat Paços de Ferreira 2–1 to win their third title. Format This seasons' format consists of 3 rounds, plus knockout stages. In the first round only second division teams play. All 16 teams are allocated into four groups of four teams each.
