The men's tandem was a cycling event at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, Mexico, held on 20 to 21 October 1968. There were 28 participants from 14 nations. Daniel Morelon
Daniel Morelon (born 24 July 1944) is a retired French racing cyclist who was active between 1963 and 1980. He is a triple Olympic champion, eight times world champion, and a Ordre national du Mérite, Knight of the National Order of Merit (''Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Mérite''). Morelon was a police officer before becoming a cycling coach. Cycling career Morelon came into cycling after going to races with his two brothers. Klaus Kobusch
Klaus Kobusch (15 March 1941 – 12 March 2025) was a German track cyclist who won a bronze medal at the 1964 Olympics in the 2000 m tandem and finished fifth in the 2000 m sprint at the 1968 Games. Hans-Jürgen Geschke (also known as Tutti, born 7 July 1943) is a German former track cyclist who competed for East Germany in the 1968, 1972 and 1976 Olympics. After having won the silver medal in the 2000 m tandem, alongside Werner Otto, he claimed the bronze medal in the 1000 m sprint in 1976. Ihor Vasilyevich Tselovalnikov (; ; 2 January 1944 – 17 March 1986) was a Soviet cyclist.
