Curse Of The Puppet Master
''Curse of the Puppet Master'' is a 1998 direct-to-video horror film written by Benjamin Carr and David Schmoeller, and directed by David DeCoteau. The sixth film in the ''Puppet Master'' franchise, it stars George Peck as scientist Dr. Magrew, who experiments with transforming humans into puppets. While ''Puppet Master 5'' was intended to be the final installment four years earlier, financial success and fan demand spawned ''Curse'' (which borrows quite heavily from the 1973 eco-horror film ''Sssssss''), serving as a standalone sequel that promptly revived the series, which has been ongoing since. Plot The film begins at ''The House of Marvels'', a doll museum, where Dr. Magrew (George Peck), stuffs something into a crate, before driving into the woods and setting it on fire. David DeCoteau
David DeCoteau (born January 5, 1962) is an American- Canadian film director and producer. Biography Early life David DeCoteau was born on January 5, 1962, in Portland, Oregon. Career He has worked professionally in the movie business since he was 18. He got his start through Roger Corman, who hired him in 1980 as a production assistant at New World Pictures. In 1986, DeCoteau directed and produced his first feature film for Charles Band. He is the founder of Rapid Heart Pictures, where his films include '' A Talking Cat!?!'' and the ''1313'' series. He has said of his working methods, "I always wanted to make what I could sell. So I just promised myself that I would not be set in my ways. Scott Boyer
Charles Scott Boyer II (October 17, 1947 – February 13, 2018) was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Boyer was best known for co-founding the band Cowboy. Boyer was born in Chenango, New York, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in his youth. After high school, he played in the band the 31st of February. He co-founded Cowboy with songwriter Tommy Talton in 1969, which released four albums and supported the Allman Brothers Band on tour. Boyer's song "Please Be with Me" was later covered by Eric Clapton. After Cowboy's breakup, Boyer continued playing music.
