Curling At The 2026 Winter Olympics – Men's Tournament
The men's curling tournament of the 2026 Winter Olympics will be held at the Cortina Olympic Stadium in Cortina D’Ampezzo from 11 to 21 February 2026. Ten nations will competed in a round robin preliminary round, and the top four nations at the conclusion of the round robin will qualify for the medal round. Competition schedule Qualification The top seven nations based on combined rankings at the 2024 World Men's Curling Championship and 2025 World Men's Curling Championship qualified along with hosts Italy. The final two teams qualified through the 2025 Olympic Qualification Event. Stadio Olimpico Del Ghiaccio
Stadio Olimpico del Ghiaccio () was built between 1952 and 1954, primarily as an open air Figure skating arena in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, to hold between seven and eight thousand spectators, with the possibility of making temporary arrangements to accommodate twelve to fifteen thousand for the period of the Olympics. The venue was inaugurated on 26 October 1955. During the 1956 Winter Olympics, the arena held the opening and closing ceremonies, the figure skating events and select ice hockey games. Sometime after 1981, a roof was added to the structure. The stadium will host curling during the 2026 Winter Olympics, and it will also host wheelchair curling and the closing ceremony during the 2026 Winter Paralympics. Magnus Ramsfjell
Magnus Ramsfjell (born 17 July 1997 in Tønsberg) is a Norwegian curler from Trondheim. Career Juniors Ramsfjell was the skip of the Norwegian junior men's team in four straight World Junior Curling Championships from 2016 to 2019. At the 2016 World Junior Curling Championships, Ramsfjell led his team of Bendik Ramsfjell, Magnus Vågberg, Elias Høstmælingen and Eskil Vintervold to a 5-4 round robin record, missing the playoffs. At the 2017 World Junior Curling Championships, his team improved to a 6-3 round robin record, which put them in a tiebreaker game against Canada's Tyler Tardi rink for the final playoff spot. Johannes Martin Scheuerl (born 20 November 2002) is a German curler originally from Oberstdorf. Career Juniors Scheuerl began curling in around 2014. Scheuerl made his international début at the 2019 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival, where he was the second on the German team, which was skipped by Felix Messenzehl. There, the team finished in sixth place. Scheuerl also played second for German mixed team in the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics. The team, which was skipped by Benjamin Kapp finished in eighth overall. Marc Muskatewitz (born 28 January 1996) is a German curler from Kempten. Career Juniors Muskatewitz started playing curling in 2003, where he had a successful junior career, where he skipped the German junior men's curling team at two European Junior Curling Challenge events, and later at two World Junior B Curling Championships. While he was still junior age, he won the German Men's Championship as a second on the Alexander Baumann team, and represented Germany on the national men's team at multiple European and World Championships. Mens Muskatewitz started skipping the national men's curling team at the 2018–19 curling season, with teammates Sixten Totzek, Daniel Neuner, and Ryan Sherrard.
