"Cruiser's Creek" (also commonly rendered "Cruisers Creek") is a 1985 single by the English Post-punk band The Fall. The music and lyrics were written by guitarist Brix Smith and lead vocalist Mark E. Smith during sessions in the lead up to recording their 8th album ''This Nation's Saving Grace'', and it was released as single just after the album came out.Start Smith (2017), 1985−1986 The b-side of the single was album track "L.A." while the twelve-inch single version contains the song "Vixen", written and sung by Brix. "Cruiser's Creek" was produced by John Leckie, who brought a cleaner and higher fidelity sound to the band's recordings compared to their earlier recordings. ''The Tube'' is a United Kingdom music television programme, which ran for five series, from 5 November 1982 to 24 April 1987. It was filmed in Newcastle upon Tyne and produced for Channel 4 by Tyne Tees Television, which had previously produced the similar music show '' Alright Now'' and the music-oriented youth show '' Check it Out'' for ITV; production of the latter ended in favour of ''The Tube''. ''The Tube'' was presented live by hosts including Jools Holland, Paula Yates, Leslie Ash, Muriel Gray, Gary James, Mark Miwurdz (Mark Hurst), Michel Cremona, Felix Howard, Tony Fletcher, Nick Laird-Clowes and Mike Everitt.
