The Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Animated Series is one of the award categories presented annually by the Critics' Choice Television Awards (BTJA). It was introduced in 2012. The Critics' Choice Television Awards are accolades that are presented annually by the Critics Choice Association (CCA). They were established in 2011, and the first ceremony was held on June 20, 2011, and streamed live on VH1.com.
