Corellon
In the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' role-playing game, Corellon Larethian is the leader of the Elf (Dungeons & Dragons), elven pantheon, and the deity of Magic, Music, Arts, Crafts, Poetry, and Warfare. Corellon is also considered a member of the List of deities of Dungeons & Dragons, default ''D&D'' pantheon. Corellon is the creator and preserver of the elven race, and governs those things held in the highest esteem among elves. Corellon's symbol was originally a crescent moon; in the 4th edition Corellon's symbol is a silver star on a blue field. The 5th edition Player's Handbook describes Corellon as "androgynous" and ''Deities & Demigods, Deities and Demigods'' (1980) explains that Corellon is "alternatively male or female, both or neither." Jim Ward (game Designer)
James Michael Ward III (May 23, 1951 – March 18, 2024) was an American game designer and fantasy author who worked for TSR, Inc. for more than 20 years, most notably on the role-playing game ''Dungeons & Dragons''. He wrote various books relating to Dungeons & Dragons, including guidebooks such as ''Deities & Demigods'', and novels including ''Pool of Radiance'', based on the computer game of the same name. Early life and education Jim Ward was born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin to James Ward Jr. and Orabelle Ward. He attended University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he earned a double major in English and History. He then moved to Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and taught for five years at West Grant High School in Patch Grove, Wisconsin. ''Deities & Demigods'' (abbreviated ''DDG''), alternatively known as ''Legends & Lore'' (abbreviated ''L&L'' or ''LL''), is a reference book for the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' fantasy role-playing game (D&D). Monte Cook (born January 29, 1968) is an American professional tabletop role-playing game designer and writer, best known for his work on ''Dungeons & Dragons''. Role-playing industry career Early years Cook has been a professional game designer since 1988, working primarily on role-playing games. Much of his early work was for Iron Crown Enterprises as an editor and writer for the ''Rolemaster'' and '' Champions'' lines.
