The Conservative People's Party (; PCP) is a minor social conservative political party in Argentina founded in 1958 by Vicente Solano Lima, who was vice president of Argentina in 1973. It was founded as a split from the Democratic Party (PD) following the 1955 coup that ousted Juan Domingo Perón from the presidency. A historical ally of Peronism and the Justicialist Party, in recent years the PCP has backed anti-Peronist parties and alliances, and was one of the founding parties of the Cambiemos coalition in 2015. The Conservative People's Party of Estonia (, EKRE) is a Estonian nationalism, nationalist and right-wing populist political party in Estonia led by Martin Helme. It was founded in March 2012 with the merger of People's Union of Estonia and Estonian Patriotic Movement while legally remaining the same entity as the People's Union of Estonia. Its first leader, Margo Miljand, served as the chairman until 2013 when he was succeeded by Mart Helme. Its popularity remained low until late 2014, when the party began to draw supporters from the right; in the 2015 Estonian parliamentary election, it passed the electoral threshold and won seats in parliament for the first time. The Conservative People's Party (German: , KVP) was a short-lived conservative and Christian democracy, Christian democratic political party of the moderate right in the last years of the Weimar Republic. It broke away from the German National People's Party (DNVP) in July 1930 as a result of the DNVP's increasing shift to the right under the leadership of Alfred Hugenberg. It remained a numerically insignificant minor party but was represented in the governments of Heinrich Brüning (1930–1932). The KVP folded on 31 March 1933 after it ran out of funds. The Conservative People's Party (, SKL) was a liberal-conservative and Christian-democratic political party in Poland, which was active in 1997–2003 and 2007–2014. In 2014, the party was incorporated into Poland Together. History The party was formed in January 1997 with the merger of some minor Christian-democratic party and a conservative faction of the liberal Freedom Union, the latter led by Jan Rokita. The party soon joined the centre-right Solidarity Electoral Action coalition and was subsequently part of it in the 1997 parliamentary election. The coalition won 33.8% of the vote and 201 seats in the Sejm, 14 of which were SKL members, notably including Rokita and Bronislaw Komorowski.
