Escape the Day is a Swedish electronicore band from Gothenburg, formed in 2007 as Mindscape, by Sebastian Westman and Patrick Möhlenbrock. History Escape the Day began their journey in 2007, as Mindscape. They released a self-titled EP in 2008, which received immediate recognition over the internet and included songs like ''Derailed'' and ''As We Were Once''.
