The Conference USA Men's Soccer Freshman of the Year is an annual award given to the best freshman soccer player in Conference USA during the NCAA Division I men's soccer season. Conference USA
Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I in all sports. C-USA's offices are located in Dallas, Texas. History C-USA was founded in 1995 by the merger of the Metro Conference and Great Midwest Conference, two Division I conferences that did not sponsor football. However, the merger did not include either Great Midwest member Dayton or Metro members VCU and Virginia Tech. Since this left an uneven number of schools in the conference, Houston of the dissolving Southwest Conference was extended an invitation and agreed to join following the SWC's disbanding at the end of the 1995–96 academic year. Marshall Thundering Herd Men's Soccer
The Marshall Thundering Herd men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. The Thundering Herd plays its home games at Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex in Huntington and competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Sun Belt Conference (SBC). Marshall fielded its first intercollegiate men's soccer team in 1979. Jacob Thomas (born February 14, 1977, in Austin, Texas) is a former American soccer midfielder who last played for the Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer. Career After one season of college soccer, playing for the Saint Louis University, Thomas played for the Austin Lone Stars in the USISL. In 1999 Thomas went to Germany and joined Dritte Liga club Eintracht Braunschweig where he played for the next five years, including one season in the 2. Bundesliga. Rumbani Andrew Munthali (born 2 December 1978) is a Canadian soccer coach and former professional player who played as a defender and midfielder. He is the youth coach for Major League Soccer side Nashville SC. The UAB Blazers men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. As of the upcoming 2022 season, the college soccer program competes in the NCAA Division I American Athletic Conference (The American). History UAB began a men's soccer program back in 1979. The Saint Louis Billikens men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Saint Louis University. The Saint Louis Billikens compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I.
