Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Tournament
The Conference Carolinas men's basketball tournament is the annual conference basketball championship tournament for Conference Carolinas (formerly the North State Intercollegiate Conference, Carolinas Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and the Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference). The tournament has been held annually since 1936 with two gaps between 1937–40 and 1944–46. It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Division II Basketball Championship. Queens Royals
The Queens Royals are the athletic teams that represent Queens University of Charlotte, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, in NCAA intercollegiate sporting competitions. On July 1, 2022, the Royals began a four-year transition from NCAA Division II to Division I as new members of the ASUN Conference. Before then, Queens had competed in the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) for 20 of their varsity sports; the men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed in the Bluegrass Mountain Conference and the men's volleyball team competed in the Independent Volleyball Association, a scheduling alliance among schools that are independents in that sport's National Collegiate division. Mount Olive Trojans
The Mount Olive Trojans are the athletic teams that represent the University of Mount Olive, located in Mount Olive, North Carolina, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sporting competitions. UMO's sports teams are known as the Trojans; their colors are green and white. Pfeiffer University
Pfeiffer University is a private university in Misenheimer, North Carolina, United States. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. History Pfeiffer originated from a home school operated by Emily Prudden in the late-19th century. The school, called the "Oberlin Home and School", first began on the outskirts of Hudson, North Carolina, on Lick Mountain in Caldwell County, North Carolina. Catawba College
Catawba College is a private college in Salisbury, North Carolina. The UNC Pembroke Braves are the athletic teams that represent the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, located in Pembroke, North Carolina, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports.
