Compact (German Magazine)
''Compact'' (stylized COMPACT, published with the subtitle "Magazine for Sovereignty" () since October 2013) is a German media outlet, based on a monthly magazine. ''Compact'' is a popular magazine of the far-right in Germany. It united different right-wing political milieus through strategic topic setting. The magazine was banned on in Germany. The ban was lifted on 14 August 2024 by a German federal administrative court in Leipzig. The editor-in-chief of ''Compact'' is Jürgen Elsässer; the CEO of the publishing company is Kai Homilius and Elsässer. The editorial office is in a family home in Falkensee in Brandenburg, on the western outskirts of Berlin. Jürgen Elsässer
Jürgen Elsässer (born 20 January 1957) is a German journalist and political activist. Once active in left-wing circles, he later became a prominent figure in Germany's far-right scene. He is the founder of Compact, a magazine classified as extremist by the BfV in 2021 and banned by the BMI in 2024, though the ban was later overturned, with a final decision pending. Life Jürgen Elsässer was born in Pforzheim in 1957, the son of a watchmaker and a secretary. He described himself and his two sisters in their youth as typical admirers of left-wing values, influenced by the 1968 protest movement a few years earlier. His father, in contrast, was a conservative CDU voter. In order to secure a teaching position, Elsässer pledged support for the Liberal democratic basic order, a prerequisite for employment in the German public sector aimed at preventing political extremists from holding state-funded jobs. ''Zuerst!'' () is a monthly German news magazine published in Selent, Germany. The magazine has a far-right-wing political stance. History ''Zuerst!'' was founded in January 2010 as a successor to the now-defunct '' Nation und Europa'' magazine. It was supported by right-wing publishers in Germany. The publisher of the magazine was Lesen und Schenken. At that time the distributor of the magazine was Bauer media group which also owned it later. AfD Pro-Russia Movement
A large part of the right-wing populist and far-right German party Alternative for Germany (AfD) supports Russia, its foreign policy, and its allies. The German domestic secret service reported based on its findings that Russia is trying to destabilize the democratic system of Germany on many levels. Richard Gutjahr (; born 1973 in Bonn) is a German TV presenter and blogger. André Poggenburg
André Poggenburg (born 1975 in Weißenfels, Bezirk Halle, East Germany) is a German politician and former member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. He was state chairman of the party in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt and was leading candidate for the 2016 Saxony-Anhalt state elections. The AfD gained 24.2 percent of the votes and is now the second largest political force in Saxony-Anhalt. After a 2017 leak of his WhatsApp chat, Poggenburg was found to be using the neo-Nazi slogan, "Germany for the Germans".
