Arganchy
Arganchy () is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region of northwestern France. Geography Arganchy is located in the area of Bessin in the valley of the Gourguichon Stream some 6.5 km south-west of Bayeux and 7 km north-east of Castillon. Access to the commune is by the D192 road from Subles in the west passing through the commune north of the village and continuing east to join National Highway N13 east of Monceaux-en-Bessin. The village is reached by the country road ''L'Eglise'' running off the D192. The D572 highway runs through the north-western corner of the commune with an exit onto the D192 at Subles. Apart from the village there are also the hamlets of La Mauvielle, Saint-Amator, La Petite Flague, and Les Feffes in the commune. The commune is entirely farmland. Annebault () is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France. Geography Annebault is located in the pays d'Auge, 17 kilometers from Lisieux. Toponymy The village Annebault was first mentioned as ''Olnebac'' in the beginning of the 12th century, and as ''Ounebaus'' in 1195. Several different theories have been proposed to explain the origins of this name. French linguist René Lepelley has proposed that the name comes from the Old Norrois "almr balkr", or "splitting of the elm". On the other hand, Ernest Nègre, toponymist and specialist in Occitan, has offered that it is derived from the Germanic personal name ''Allinus'' followed by the Old Norse ''bekkr''. Anisy
Anisy () is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region of north-western France. Geography Anisy is located some 8 km north by north-west of Caen and 4 km south of Douvres-la-Délivrande. It can be accessed by the D79 road from Caen passing through the west of the commune and continuing to Anguerny. The village can be accessed by the D220 road from Mathieu in the east passing through the village and the commune and continuing to Villons-les-Buissons in the south-west. The D220A branches off the D220 in the village and goes south to Cambes-en-Plaine. The D141 from Mathieu to Anguerny also passes through the north-eastern tip of the commune. Angerville () is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region of northwestern France. Geography Angerville is located some 30 km east by north-east of Caen and 20 km west of Pont-l'Eveque on the A13 autoroute which passes through the commune south of the village but has no exit in the commune. The nearest exit is Exit to the west of the commune. Access to the commune is by the D675 road which runs parallel to and south of the A13 autoroute from Dozulé to Danestal. The D287 runs north from the D675 through the commune to the D142 which passes through the north-west of the commune running from Dozule to Gonneville-sur-Mer. Access to the village is solely by the dead-end Chemin de l'Eglise which runs west off the D287. The ''Ancre'' river runs from west to east through the south of the commune and is joined by several other streams. The ''Ruisseau de Caudimuche'' forms much of the eastern border. Geography Amfreville is located some 25 km north-west of Caen and 1 km south-east of Ouistreham mostly on the right bank of the Orne (river), Orne with a small portion on the left bank. Amayé-sur-Seulles (, literally ''Amayé on Seulles'') is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region of northwestern France. Geography Amayé-sur-Seulles is located four kilometres west of Villers-Bocage and 20 kilometres south of Bayeux in the Seulles valley. It can be accessed by road D71 coming west from Villers-Bocage through the heart of the commune and village and continuing west to Caumont-l'Evente. The road D193 running west from Cahagnes to Villers-Bocage forms the southern boundary of the commune. The road D215 also starts from the hamlet of Saint-German in the commune and runs south-west to Tracy-Bocage. There are also many small country roads in the commune. Geography ''Amayé-sur-Orne'' is located approximately 10 km south-west of Caen and 5 km east of Évrecy. It can be accessed by road D212 from Vieux, Calvados, Vieux in the north which continues south to Thury-Harcourt and by road D41 from Evrecy in the west which continues to Clinchamps-sur-Orne in the east. Ablon () is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France. Geography Ablon is 5 km south east of Honfleur and 16 km north-west of Pont-Audemer with its northern border on the Seine Estuary. It can be reached on Highway D580A from Honfleur turning right on the small country road called ''Cote de Vats'' to reach the village of Ablon. Road D140 (Route de Genneville) from Genneville in the south passes through the western side of the commune to join the D580a just outside the commune. The D144 road forms the southern border of the commune. Ablon is in the north-eastern corner of the Calvados department with its eastern border being the departmental border with Eure.
