Auriol, Bouches-du-Rhône
Auriol (; ) is a commune in the Huveaune valley in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southern France. The commune has been awarded one flower by the National Council of Towns and Villages in Bloom in the Competition of cities and villages in Bloom. Located west of Roquevaire and northwest of Aubagne, it will be served by two stations of the Aubagne tramway when the northern Line T extension opens in 2023. Geography Auriol is located some 22 km east by north-east of Marseille and 10 km north by north-east of Aubagne. The eastern border of the commune is the departmental border between Bouches-du-Rhône and Var. Access to the commune is by the A52D autoroute which separates from the A52 autoroute at the western border of the commune and ends at the D560 road just east of the town. La Bouilladisse
La Bouilladisse (; ) is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southern France. Geography A small residential town of forestry, farming and a little light industry situated in the valley of the small river Merlançon, some northeast of Marseille at the junction of the D8 with the D45e and D96 roads. The A52 autoroute skirts the south-western border of the commune's territory. In 2025, La Bouilladisse will be served by two stations of the Aubagne tramway after the northern extension of Line T is completed. History The commune was created on 6 July 1880 as La Bourine, when it was separated from the neighbouring village of Auriol. It adopted its current name on 20 January 1910. Bouc-Bel-Air
Bouc-Bel-Air (; ) is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southern France. It is situated between Aix-en-Provence to the north, Gardanne to the east, Marseille to the south and Vitrolles to the west. The old village is located at the summit of a small hill (a ''bouc'' in the regional language Provençal). In 2018, the commune had a population of 14,784. Les Baux-de-Provence (; "Les Baux of Provence"; Provençal: ''Lei Bauç de Provença'' or ''Li Baus de Prouvènço'' ), commonly referred to simply as Les Baux, is a rural commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southern France. It is located in the Alpilles mountains, northeast of Arles, atop a rocky outcrop that is crowned with a ruined castle overlooking the plains to the south. Its name refers to its site: in Provençal, ''bauç'' is a rocky spur. From the village name the word ''bauxite'' was coined for aluminium ore when first discovered there by geologist Pierre Berthier in 1821.
