Communauté Urbaine D'Arras
The Communauté urbaine d'Arras is the ''communauté urbaine'', an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Arras. It is located in the Pas-de-Calais department, in the Hauts-de-France region, northern France. It was created in January 1998, replacing the previous ''district urbain d'Arras''. Its area is 306.0 km2. Its population was 108,347 in 2018, of which 41,555 in Arras proper.Comparateur de territoire

Arras
Arras ( , ; ; historical ) is the prefecture of the Pas-de-Calais department, which forms part of the region of Hauts-de-France; before the reorganization of 2014 it was in Nord-Pas-de-Calais. The historic centre of the Artois region, with a Baroque town square, Arras is in northern France at the confluence of the rivers Scarpe and Crinchon. The Arras plain is on a large chalk plateau bordered on the north by the Marqueffles fault, on the southwest by the Artois and Ternois hills, and on the south by the slopes of Beaufort-Blavincourt. On the east it is connected to the Scarpe valley. Saint Vedast (or St. Vaast) was the first Catholic bishop in the year 499 and tried to eliminate paganism among the Franks. By 843, Arras was seat of the County of Artois which became part of the Royal domain in 1191. The first mention of the name ''Arras'' appeared in the 12th century. Beaurains
Beaurains () is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region in northern France. Geography A suburban town located 3 miles (5 km) south of Arras at the junction of the N17 with the D5 road. History The first church here was built in 674. In the 12th century, the parish council created an important leprosarium that treated Jean Bodel, a French poet. On 21 December 1922, a large treasure was discovered dating from the Roman era. Known as the Beaurains Treasure, much was squandered and the little that remains is now at Arras. However, a silver candelabra, gold coins and some jewellery from the treasure are also in the British Museum. The commune was all but destroyed during the First World War. Feuchy
Feuchy () is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France. It is a small village, with a little more than 1000 inhabitants, and had only about 500 inhabitants in 1914. It is situated two kilometers east of Arras. During World War I, in 1914, it was occupied by German troops. British troops took over the Arras sector in March 1916. On April 9, 1917, the British operation "big push" led to advancement of several miles to the east in a battle with one with the most casualties per day, and Feuchy was liberated. The German offensives placed Feuchy under their control in 1918 until the Canadians cleared the area in August 1918. The population of Feuchy was evacuated and the village was completely destroyed. Geography A farming and light industrial village situated east of Arras, at the junction of the D37 and D258 roads, in the valley of the Scarpe river. Farbus
Farbus () is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France. It is located seven kilometres from the Canadian National Vimy Memorial dedicated to the Battle of Vimy Ridge (part of the Battle of Arras) and the missing First World War Canadian soldiers with no known grave; the Memorial is also the site of two Canadian cemeteries.
