Commando (1988 Film)
''Commando'' is a 1988 Bollywood, Hindi-language Indian action film, action film directed by B.Subhash and produced by Mushir-Riaz. It stars Mithun Chakraborty, Mandakini (actress), Mandakini, Hemant Birje, Kim Yashpal, Kim in lead roles. It was a commercial success at the box-office. Plot The film starts with an assassination attempt that fails as a police inspector jumps in front of and saves the minister. The police dies, and his wife goes mad. The son, Mithun, grows by training himself, and at the same time cares for his mother, who is in treatment for mental illness. Mithun, saves Mandakini during a murder attempt by the gunmen of Shakthi Kapoor. Gradually both fall in love, but Mandakini`s father is against it. Mushir Alam
Mushir Alam (died 20 February 2019) was an Indian film producer. After a nationally publicized funeral, he was buried in Jajmau. He was known as one of Bollywood's highest-profile and most successful producers of the 70s and 80s. His production shingle was "Mushir-Riaz", a joint venture with fellow producer Mohammed Riaz (died 21 May 2022). He was infamously kidnapped in Mumbai in 1982. Govardhan Asrani (born 1 January 1941), known popularly by mononym Asrani, is an Indian actor and director whose Bollywood career has spanned over five decades. He has acted in over 350 Hindi films. Iftekhar Ahmed Sharif (22 February 1920 – 4 March 1995), often mononymously credited as Iftekhar or Iftikhar, was an Indian actor who mainly worked in Hindi cinema. He is known for his film roles as a police officer. Career Iftekhar was born in Jalandhar and was the eldest among four brothers and a sister. After completing his matriculation, Iftekhar did a diploma course in painting from Lucknow College Of Arts. Satish Kaul (8 September 1946 – 10 April 2021) was an Indian actor in both Punjabi and Hindi movies. He acted in over 300 Hindi and Punjabi films and worked with Bollywood actors such as Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar and Shahrukh Khan amongst others.
