The Commander of the People's Liberation Army Ground Force ( zh, s=中国人民解放军陆军司令员, p=Zhōngguó rénmín jiěfàngjūn lùjūn sīlìng yuán) is the commanding officer of the People's Liberation Army Ground Force. The current commander is General Li Qiaoming. History The position was created following the 2015 military reform, which saw major changes to the PLA structure. General Armaments Department
People's Liberation Army General Armaments Department (GAD; ) was in charge of equipping and arming the People's Liberation Army of China, as well as overseeing and improving military technology. Founded in April 1998, it was one of the four "general departments" that fell under the Central Military Commission (China), Central Military Commission. The General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army (GPD; ) was the former chief political organ under the Central Military Commission of Chinese Communist Party.
