''MTV Unplugged: Comfort y Música Para Volar'' (Spanish for ''Comfort and music to fly'') is a part-live, part-studio album recorded by Argentine rock band Soda Stereo. The first seven tracks were recorded live at MTV Studios in Miami, Florida, for the show MTV Unplugged. The remaining four tracks were Sueño Stereo outtakes recorded in studio. The album was released by BMG Argentina in 1996. It was also the first Latin band to depart from the use of only acoustic instruments, using for most of the televised set conventional "plugged" instruments. Soda Stereo was an Argentine rock band formed in Buenos Aires in 1982. The band's membership consisted of singer-guitarist Gustavo Cerati, bassist Zeta Bosio and drummer Charly Alberti. During their career, the band released seven studio albums before disbanding in 1997. Soda Stereo is the best-selling Argentine band of all time, having sold seven million records by 2007. The band's 1984 self-titled debut album featured a new wave and ska influenced sound, which evolved into a post-punk style found on their subsequent albums '' Nada personal'' (1985), '' Signos'' (1986), and '' Doble Vida'' (1988). "En la Ciudad de la Furia" (Spanish for "In the City of Fury") is a song by Argentine rock band Soda Stereo, written by lead vocalist and guitarist Gustavo Cerati. It was released in 1989 as the first single from their 1988 album '' Doble Vida''. The music video, released in 1989, was a finalist for the International Viewer's Choice in the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards. Lyrics The lyrics tells of a winged man who is alone with himself, flying at night between the buildings "falling as a bird of prey", connected to "the city of fury" and is among many other winged men like him ("yo soy parte de todos" ("I am part of all")), who are susceptible, with their faces marked with a "destiny of fury". Charly Alberti (born Carlos Alberto Ficicchia; 27 March 1963) is an Argentine musician. He was the drummer for the rock band Soda Stereo, which was formed in 1982 and disbanded in 1997. Biography Alberti was born on 27 March 1963 in Buenos Aires. He is the son of jazz musician and drummer Tito Alberti. He began studying music at the age of six. Alberti met Gustavo Cerati, the future singer and guitarist of Soda Stereo, through Maria Laura Cerati, Gustavo's sister, who used to go to the River Plate sports club's pool. Héctor Juan Pedro Bosio (born 1 October 1958), known by his stage name Zeta Bosio, is an Argentine musician, record producer and DJ, best known as the bassist of the rock band Soda Stereo. He was also the bassist of Chilean band La Ley between 2013 and 2014. Nowadays he plays in the band Shoot the Radio, which he co-founded. Bosio, along with Gustavo Cerati and Charly Alberti, formed Soda Stereo in 1982. They recorded over a dozen records until they disbanded in 1997. ''Nada Personal'' (Spanish for ''Nothing Personal'') is the second album recorded by Argentine rock band Soda Stereo, released in 1985. It was recorded at Estudios Moebio in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and remastered in 2007 at Sterling Sound Studios in New York. ''Nada Personal'' provided the band with at least three successful singles, which became the breakout songs for the band all over Hispano-America. The album showed Soda Stereo venturing in a new musical direction, focused mainly on the British new wave style.
