Colm O'Neill (Midleton Gaelic Footballer)
Colm O'Neill (born 20 June 1964) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer. At club level he played with Midleton and was also a member of the Cork senior football team. O'Neill usually lined out as a forward. Playing career O'Neill first came to prominence as a dual player at club level with Midleton. It was as a hurler that he enjoyed his greatest club success, winning an All-Ireland Club Championship title in 1988. O'Neill first appeared on the inter-county scene as a member of the Cork minor football team in 1981. He won an All-Ireland Minor Championship title in his debut season after scoring three goals in the final against Derry. A subsequent three-year spell with the under-21 team yielded two consecutive All-Ireland Under-21 Championship titles. O'Neill was still a member of the under-21 team when he was drafted onto the Cork senior football team in 1984. Midleton GAA
Midleton Hurling and Football Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Midleton, County Cork, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The club is affiliated to the Imokilly GAA, East Cork Board and is primarily concerned with the game of hurling, but also fields teams in Gaelic football. History Located in the town of Midleton, about 16km from Cork (city), Cork, Midleton Football Club was formally affiliated to the newly-established Gaelic Athletic Association on 17 January 1885. Munster Senior Football Championship
The Munster Senior Football Championship, known simply as the Munster Championship and shortened to Munster SFC, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster GAA, Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The 1987 Cork Senior Hurling Championship was the 99th staging of the Cork Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1887. The championship began on 23 May 1987 and ended on 25 October 1987. Midleton entered the championship as the defending champions. Shane Edward O'Neill (born September 2, 1993) is a professional soccer player who plays as a center-back for Serbian SuperLiga club Radnički 1923. Born in Ireland, he represented the United States at international level. Club career Colorado Rapids O'Neill joined the U.S. Soccer Development Academy with the Colorado Rapids youth system in 2009. He led the Rapids U18 team in scoring in 2011–12 with 10 goals in 15 games, helping them reach the playoffs.
