College Of Music, Mahidol University
The College of Music, Mahidol University or Wittayalaiduliyangkasilp (; literally: College of Orchestra Art) is a music school in Phutthamonthon, Nakhon Pathom (in the western suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand). The College of Music is a faculty within Mahidol University. It was established in 1994 by Mahidol University under the leadership of , the first music school in Thailand. Today, there are more than 1,300 students enrolled in the precollege, undergraduate, and graduate levels of the College of Music (approximately 300 precollege, 750 undergraduates and 250 graduate students). Students come from throughout Thailand, and approximately 5% of students are from other countries, primarily Southeast Asia. Each year about 250 new students enroll, selected from more than 1,200 applicants. Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra
The Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) gave its inaugural performance at the Royal Thailand Navy Auditorium on 23 June 2005, in a gala concert for the International Trumpet Guild Conference. Over its first six seasons the TPO has consistently impressed and inspired audiences with its performances. Many conductors have led the TPO including Gudni Emilsson, Claude Villaret, Delta David Geir, Leo Phillips, Michalis Economou, Jeannine Wagnar, Dariusz Mikulski, Ligia Amadio, Christopher Hughes and Jeffery Meyer. The International Trumpet Guild (ITG) is an international organization of trumpet players. Members include professional and amateur performers, teachers, students, manufacturers, publishers, and others interested in the trumpet. ITG is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization supported by the dues of individual members. Formation ITG was established in 1975. World Saxophone Congress
The World Saxophone Congress is a festival gathering approximately 1000 saxophone, saxophonists and other musicians from all over the world. It is held every three years at a different congress centre in a different country and focuses primarily (although not exclusively) on the performance of classical saxophone music. The Congress presents an opportunity to meet saxophonists from many countries and to listen to various concerts and performances of saxophone soloists, chamber ensembles, big bands and symphony orchestras that run simultaneously throughout the day in different halls of the congress centre. Paradise Park or formerly known as Seri Center is a shopping mall located in Prawet, Bangkok, Thailand. The retail giants Siam Piwat and MBK made a new joint-venture for new opportunities in the suburbs of Bangkok their Paradise Park Srinagarindra transformed Seri Center at a total cost of Bt3.2 billion.
