Club Atlético Platense is an Argentine sports club based in Florida, Buenos Aires. The club nickname is (Squid) after the journalist Palacio Zino said that the team moved "like a squid in its ink". Although the club hosts many activities, Platense is mostly known for its association football, football team. A historic team in Argentina, they won their first league title in their 120 years of existence in the 2025 Argentine Primera División, 2025 Apertura, beating Huracán in the final. Saavedra, Buenos Aires
Saavedra is a barrio or neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located in the Northern end of the city, close to Nuñez and Villa Urquiza. Its northern border is Avenida General Paz. Among the main features of the neighbourhood is the Parque Saavedra (), which has large picnic areas and sports facilities. Daniel Vega (footballer, Born 1981)
Daniel Alejandro Vega (born 19 October 1981) is a former Argentine footballer who played as a forward. Career Vega played several years and for various teams in the lower league Primera B Metropolitana and in 2007 he played for Platense in the Primera B Nacional, both in Argentina. In Platense, he was the top goal scorer with 13 goals. Subsequently, Vega joined Ecuadorian club Emelec. He scored his first goal with Emelec on his debut on the Ecuadorian League against Macará. In that game he also made the assist in fellow striker Gonzalo Ludueña's goal. Personal life Vega is a family-oriented man. The 2023 Copa de la Liga Profesional (officially the Copa Sur Finanzas 2023, starting from the 8th round, for sponsorship reasons) was the fourth edition of the Copa de la Liga Profesional, an Argentine domestic cup. The Primera C Metropolitana is one of the two professional leagues that form the fourth level of the Argentine football league system. Primera C Metropolitana is made up of 20 clubs, mainly from the city of Buenos Aires and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires).
