The 2017 Clash of Champions was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming List of WWE pay-per-view and livestreaming supercards, event produced by WWE. It was the second WWE Clash of Champions, Clash of Champions and took place on December 17, 2017, at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's SmackDown (WWE brand), SmackDown WWE brand extension, brand division. As per the theme of the event, all championships exclusive to SmackDown at the time were defended. The 2018 Evolution was a women's professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was the inaugural Evolution and took place on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and NXT UK brand divisions. This was the first WWE PPV and livestreaming event to consist solely of women's matches, and it was the only until 2025. The main card consisted of seven matches.
