Civil War (comics)
"Civil War" is a 2006–07 Marvel Comics fictional crossover, crossover event. The storyline consists of an eponymous seven-issue Limited series (comics), limited series, written by Mark Millar and penciled by Steve McNiven, and various tie-in books. The storyline builds upon previous Marvel storylines, particularly "Avengers Disassembled", "House of M", and "Decimation (comics), Decimation". The series' tagline is "Whose Side Are You On?". Steven McNiven is a Canadians, Canadian comic book artist. He first gained prominence on CrossGen's ''Meridian (comics), Meridian'', before moving onto books such as ''Ultimate Secret'', ''Marvel Knights 4'', The New Avengers (comics), ''New Avengers'', and ''Civil War (comics), Civil War'', illustrating storylines such as "Old Man Logan." Early life Steven McNiven is a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The New Avengers (comics)
The New Avengers are a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The title has been used for four American comic book series. The first two were written by Brian Michael Bendis and depicted a version of Marvel's premiere superhero team, the Avengers. The third was written by Jonathan Hickman and depicted a group of characters called the Illuminati (formerly introduced in ''New Avengers'' vol. 1 #7, July 2005). The fourth is written by Al Ewing and depicts the former scientific terrorist group A.I.M., reformed as "Avengers Idea Mechanics", whose field team has appropriated the name "New Avengers" for itself. Andy Schmidt
Peter Andrewes "Andy" Schmidt is an American comic book editor and writer. He is best known for his work at Marvel and is now editing and writing at other companies. Career At Marvel, Schmidt was an Associate Editor and mainly worked on the "Marvel Heroes" group of titles under Tom Brevoort. In 2006 he oversaw the "Annihilation" storyline, a major event involving a range of Marvel's cosmic characters. In June 2008 it was announced that Schmidt had left Marvel and went to work for IDW Publishing, editing ''Star Trek'' and the revival of '' G.I. Joe''. Chris Eliopoulos
Chris Eliopoulos (born September 30, 1967) is an American cartoonist and letterer of comic books. Early life Eliopoulos attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City from 1985 to 1989. He majored in graphic design and minored in illustration. He is a resident of River Vale, New Jersey.
